A generous corporate donation to the Westboro Legion

On Friday, Nov. 21, branch president Evelyn Brunton (left) accepted a cheque for $1,000 from Terlin Construction. Sarah Clarke, project coordinator (centre) made the presentation on behalf of the Kanata company’s president Terry McLaughlin – a donation made possible with help from branch friend Joan Olinik (right) who spoke to her son-in-law on our behalf. The company is known for its support of a wide range of community causes across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario, and given the challenges we face because of necessary COVID-19 restrictions, we are especially grateful to be one of the recipients of its generosity.
